Since its introduction in 1980, the San Francisco International Wine Competition has set the standard for professional wine judging. Most recently celebrating its 41st year in 2021, the SFIWC is one of the largest and longest running international wine competitions in the world. Year after year, the SFIWC takes great pride in maintaining the highest levels of integrity and impartiality ensuring that all wines are treated with equal care and consideration by our panels of highly esteemed wine experts, led by Executive Director Anthony Dias Blue and Head Judge Wilfred Wong.
Founded in 2000, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the oldest and largest competition of its kind. In 2018, the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition became a full-fledged member of the Tasting Alliance. The NYWSC programs offer the same level of integrity and respect that comes from the SFIWC and SFWSC, focusing on regional tastes and trends that drive the wine and spirits markets.
