Over 26 years ago, Dänny Ronen founded DC Spirits, a food, wine, & spirits educational organization with a focus on small producers and sustainability. Ronen has worked around the world on F&B innovation/development, restaurant and hotel concepts, and has opened and revamped everything from neighborhood bars to internationally-renown luxury properties such as Fairmont and Raffles, to critical acclaim. He is a sought-after speaker, judge, and an advocate for uncommon wine and spirit categories, especially those which showcase a sense of place.

Ronen loves introducing new concepts and flavors to a broader audience, which he continues to do daily with his team at Shaker & Spoon, the award-winning national cocktail subscription service.
