Jerry Cooper is a 20 year veteran of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

He cut his teeth as a bartender and bar manager, and has spent time as a restaurant wine director, sommelier, retail sales manager, as well as a wine & spirits consultant and ‘Key Accounts Specialist’ on the wholesale side.

Jerry has received industry accolades; he an accomplished wine educator, writer, speaker, and consultant - his achievements have been featured in The Tasting Panel Magazine, Sante Magazine, 7x7, and The San Francisco Chronicle.

Fifteen years ago he established his own company, Swirl on Castro, a wine/spirits retail store and wine bar in San Francisco.
