Karina was born and raised in Jalisco, western side of Mexico. Not only does she have 17 years of experience as Global Tequila Educator, but she has lead Tequila sessions and seminars in more than 20 countries around the Globe. She is Maestra Tequila certified by the Mexican Academy for Tequila and Mezcal, and is certified by the Mexican Tequila Chamber as "Tequila Connoisseur".

Karina is also responsible for the National Tequila Day celebration in Mexico
