Reza really likes to eat and drink, but loves to serve and entertain the most.

During 36 years in the hospitality industry, Reza has held many positions including BarDirector, GM, Partner, Consultant and Brand Ambassador. He has launched manynotable hospitality industry projects while garnering media accolades, including theprestigious San Francisco Chronicle’s 2008 ‘Bar Stars’ award. In 2017, Imbibe Magazinehighlighted his commitment to mindful hospitality and its intersection with his Iranianroots. He proudly presents seminars at renowned trade conferences to advance serviceand hospitality standards. Reza is committed to cultivating community and inspiring thenext generation of industry professionals.

Concurrent to consultant projects spanning San Francisco to Miami, Reza represented aluxury Tequila brand for 5 years. In 2021, he joined the trade advocacy team at ‘Spiritof Gallo’ as Senior Brand Ambassador. This endeavor aspires to further establish thecategory of California Brandy and advocate for Argonaut and Germain-Robin througheducation on the revered history, cultural relevance, artisanal production and cocktailapplications of California’s ‘liquid gold.’

For over 20 years, Reza has been a devoted member of the national trade organization,the United States Bartender’s Guild. He has served as President of the NorCal Chapterand three consecutive terms on the National Board of Directors. Reza has representedthe USBG internationally from Bogota to Bordeaux. In 2019, the Chengdu Bartender’sAssociation hosted him as the sole US judge in Shanghai, China. Currently serving as‘Board Chair’, he is focused locally on revitalizing the San Francisco Chapter alongsideother experienced leaders. Reza is also a tasting judge for the illustrious SF WorldSpirits Competition.

Reza visits his Mother weekly, loves the color pink and his Yorkshire Terrier ‘Baklava.’
