David Coors

A fifth generation of the Coors family, brewing and beverages are part of David Coors’ blood. He began his career at Molson Coors serving as an Area Sales Manager, before working his way up to Associate Brand Manager on Coors Banquet and Innovation. From there, he worked internationally with positions as the General Manager Australasia and Global Senior Director Craft and Retail. In 2018, he was named President of AC Golden Brewing Company before heading up the Full-Strength Spirits Division of Molson Coors (Coors Spirits Co.) as Executive Chairman. Under his leadership, the company launched its first whiskey, Five Trail Blended American Whiskey, in September of 2021, which has grown into an award-winning family of Blended American Whiskey expressions. In April of 2023, Coors Spirits Co. launched its first Bourbon, Barmen 1873, under David’s leadership, and in August of 2024, the company acquired Blue Run Spirits. Mr. Coors also serves on the board of directors for Molson Coors Beverage Company, and The Yuengling Company LLC (a joint venture between Molson Coors and D.G. Yuengling and Son). David is also engaged in several non-profit organizations locally in Colorado as well as nationally.
