Aberlour 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

Aberlour single malts are made with the best local ingredients of barley and soft water from nearby mountain, Ben Rinnes. The expertly crafted new spirit is matured for a minimum of 12 years both in the finest hand-picked Oloroso sherry butts and American oak barrels. It’s the double cask maturation which subtly brings together the characteristics of each cask to create a truly rich and rewardingly complex range of single malts.

The 18 Year Old expression’s deeper sherry influence adds more spiciness and a licorice tang. Greater age adds body and develops the distinctive fruitiness to a rich raisin character. Initial notes of soft apricot and cream are offset by developing flavors of blackcurrant jam and sweet oak with a touch of honey.
