The fruit for this wine is sourced from the Seaview heights subregion of McLaren Vale, open fermented and aged in new and seasoned French Oak for 18 months. The resultant wine was bottled unfiltered and unfined to highlight the expression of the relationship between soil position and fruit. Blackberry, violet, and chocolate on the nose, while the palate finds cacao and star anise, with a long, deep and intense finish. Enjoy with succulent rich red meats such as braised lamb, for a special occasion or to celebrate a milestone.
