Seasonal Sips: Holiday Cocktail Pairings for Classic Feasts

As traditional holiday flavors grace our tables, elevate your celebrations with a trio of captivating cocktails perfectly harmonized with classic holiday foods.

Cranberry Mule

Pairs well with roasted turkey or ham.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Ginger Beer
  • Fresh Cranberries and Rosemary for garnish

Fill a copper mug with ice. Add vodka, cranberry juice, and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and gently stir. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

Spiced Apple Cider Bourbon

Pairs well with savory dishes like glazed ham or roasted vegetables. 

1 oz Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 4 oz Apple Cider
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • Apple Slices and Star Anise for garnish

Heat the apple cider with the cinnamon stick until warm (but not boiling). Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. In a glass, combine bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and the warmed cider. Stir gently and garnish with apple slices and a star anise.

Peppermint White Russian

Pairs well with desserts like chocolate Yule log or peppermint bark. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Peppermint Schnapps
  • 2 oz Cream or Milk
  • Crushed Candy Canes for rimming (optional)
  • Whipped Cream and Peppermint Candy for garnish

Rim a glass with crushed candy canes (optional). Fill the glass with ice. Add vodka, peppermint schnapps, and cream. Stir gently. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a piece of peppermint candy.
