Soren Daugaard

Soren Daugaard is a professional beer drinker and notorious deep diver into all thing food, and beverage. Soren is a highly trained sensory panelist who has been working at New Belgium Brewing for the past sixteen years. New Belgium runs a world class sensory program and Soren’s attribute recognition is one of the best. He has a thorough understanding of the BA and BJCP style guidelines, as well as extensive panel training for hard cider, and hard seltzer. Soren judges for the Great American Beer Festival, BJCP homebrew competitions, and is very excited to be judging for the Tasting Alliance. In his free time, Soren has been a professional musician for over twenty years. He enjoys cooking with his family, researching different food, beer, and wine pairings, and listening to music.
