Antonio Laveaga

Antonio Laveaga is a Licenciado en Administración and an accomplished sommelier, affiliated with the Sommelier Mexican, Italian, and Spanish Associations. He serves as an International Judge for the Concours Mondial du Bruxelles and judges the Raicilla Contest, while also being a member of the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila. With 17 years of experience writing about wines and distillates for local newspapers, Antonio shares his insights on W Guadalajara’s “Así Las Cosas” radio program. In addition to his media work, he consults for various restaurants in Guadalajara, enhancing their wine and spirit offerings. Antonio also acts as an external consultant for Constellation Brands and Torrente Tequila, further solidifying his expertise in the industry.
