Fany Camarena

Fany, a sixth-generation tequilera and agavera, serves as Mexico Commercial Director for Tequilera Los Alambiques, located in Arandas, Jalisco, within the renowned “Golden Triangle” of the Agave and Tequila industry.

Her family has a rich legacy of creating award-winning tequila brands, including Tapatio, El Tesoro de Don Felipe, and Tequila Ocho. Fany has been actively involved in the family business since the age of 16 and holds a degree in Marketing Administration from ITESO University in Guadalajara, Mexico. She joined Los Alambiques in 2014 and has since played a key role in the company’s operations.

A certified Tequila Taster Expert with a Técnico Tequilero degree endorsed by CITEMATEQ (Colegio Internacional de Técnicos y Maestros Tequileros), Fany has contributed to the tequila industry by crafting the tasting notes featured on Tequila Ocho’s back labels for the past six years.
